I have a lot of pets. My family has a lot of pets, to be exact. As of right now, we currently own: two dogs, five cats, a leopard gecko, and (sometimes) fish in our small man-made pond. It can get a little hectic at times with all the conflicting animal personalities around the house, but overall, I love all of the animals that we share a house with, even if they can sometimes get on my nerves by knocking things over or being a little petty.
Everyone says that you should love all your pets the same and show no favoritism, and while I’d love to adhere to that sentiment, I do not. I may or may not like the cats better than all the other pets. What can I say? I’m a cat person. They just do their own thing, and sometimes I’m a part of that thing. Between all of our cats, I couldn’t really choose a favorite. They’re all cute and silly sometimes, and will probably give me scars with how sharp their claws are. The cats are allowed to freely go in and out of the house via our doggy door, so they’re not always around. To me, though, that makes it a bit more special to know that they willingly come back into the house to either eat or hang out with the family. I could probably write an entire small novel just about these cats, but that’s something for another time. For now, that’s me, signing off. See you next time.
