My Thoughts On Driving

I understand that I had previously made a post about my car. This is not that post. This is a post about the act of driving itself, which, by extension, includes driving my car. Driving is a very important part of today's society, I'd say. Basically everywhere we want or need to go is most easily accessed by a car or similar vehicle. Some find driving to be no more than a mundane task that’s necessary to continue life, while others (myself included) find it to be an enjoyable pastime that just so happens to be incorporated with everyday life.
I very much enjoy driving to and from places, so long as I know the route. It’s relaxing to not have to rely on a GPS or a map and bumble your way through confusing roads that you are unfamiliar with. The route to college every morning avoids highways and interstates and what not, so I get to enjoy the pleasant North Carolina countryside, as well as drive down some fun windy roads that I may or may not go a little too fast on.
One of those roads has, as far as I can tell, no posted speed limit anywhere along the entirety of it, but I’m not keen on figuring out whether that means I can go as fast as I want the hard way. Knowing my luck, if I got pulled over on that road, there would be some niche road law that I had no way of knowing and I’d get a ticket regardless. Oh well. Anyways, that’s about all I have for today. See you next time!
