My Thoughts On Nuclear Power

Hi again. Two posts on the same day, wow. This is a bit of a weird topic, but after writing a post about an article concerning it for my English class, it reminded me how passionate I am about it. I really like nuclear power. The concept of it and its overall utility is entirely intriguing to me, and I think it's frankly quite sad that there aren't many people who know a lot about it. I don't really care how people see it (ideally you are in favor of it) as long as they just know the facts about it. There's a lot of misinformation spread about nuclear power that scares people away from researching it further.
Personally, I'm under the impression that the entire world should be switching over to being primarily nuclear-powered. I don't want to argue with anyone, though, so that's just going to stay as my humble opinion. I think it's a bit more objective to say that the processes that nuclear reactors use are really darn cool, though. The general idea is that you use nuclear fission (look it up if you aren't familiar with it, dear reader, because that's a lot to explain, and I don't have the time) to make heat so you can boil water. That's it. The steam from the boiling spins big turbines, and boom, energy. Isn't that neato? I could ramble for several hours about nuclear power, but I'll save you the trouble and let this just perhaps be something that may spark an interest in researching it further. On that note, I'll leave you to that. See you next time.
